Cemetery Lot Transfer Fee

Resident to resident: $25.00 per transfer Resident to non-resident: $25.00 plus burial difference between cost of resident/non- resident grave.

Notes

• On old lots with no perpetual care, perpetual care fees must be paid before opening a grave. • Grave opening fee must be paid at the time of service. • Outer burial container (concrete vault) is required. • Cremains burials on top of existing full burials is allowed at a cost of the cremation burial fee plus an additional $200.00. The $200 fee will be waived for burial on top of a spouse. • No burials to begin later than 2:00 PM. • Cremation burials on Saturday must be scheduled to be completed by noon.

Cemetery Mapping

Welcome to the Norway Township Cemetery Mapping program. Click the link to take you to the Cemetery Mapping Program: https://colligogis.com/desktop/#7RX2kE2sGzc9itoM Norway Township Cemetery mapping is a web-based application that allows users to navigate and query through the use of simple data queries and a pan/zoom interface to see where graves are located. Information is viewable in map and database formats. Simply click on the ‘Agree to Continue’ button and it will take you to the map of the Norway Township Cemetery. On the right hand side of the screen, under the Search heading, type in the name of the person that you are looking for and click on ‘Find Matches’. Under the box the word ‘Spaces’ will appear and tell you how many matches were found. Click on ‘Spaces’ and a listing of all the matches will appear. Click anywhere in the desired row and it will take you to the location of the map. This is still a work-in-progress but it is far enough along to be used by the public at this point. There may be people who are not listed yet and if you know of someone, please send an e-mail to clerk@norwaytwpmi.com with the correct information so that their name can be entered into the database.
